A large pub close to the station with a hotel and function suite behind. The main pub part has been refurbished in typical corporate style, with pale blue/grey walls, odd patches of brickwork and TV screens in all directions. Friendly enough but not a huge amount of character. Draught ales were GK IPA and TT Landlord, in fair condition.

Old Boots below has summed this one up pretty well,I occasionally used it to watch live football but there are better places for that nowadays.

Extremely handy for the railway station, the outside is a handsome Edwardian building with a nice plaster work sign, inside of course is a slightly different affair. The bar is a bog standard modern design from the Greene King book with little or no charm. Cask Marque have approved the beer and it isn't too bad but with the usual sad choice of IPA, Ruddles or Old Speckled Hen. It has the usual keg beers, pool table and screens 'n' machines you would expect. It has a restaurant at the back as it still functions as an hotel under GK's Old English brand
