The Clock Inn,
One of my locals, run by the Hungry Horse Chain. For a hot sunny Sunday it was surprisingly quiet for lunchtime when I visited. Staff were helpful and friendly, and quick service with the food. Clean and modern roadside pub.
Normal chain pub grub. But I did like the update for the children’s menu where they could choose what they wanted, not a set menu.
This Pub is in the village of Fair Oak.

The New Clock Inn
Is part of the Hungry Horse chain, family orientated with its pub grub menu, all well cooked, (the pub was refurbished about 18 months ago).
It does have Green Kings Abbot Ale on tap, but they always run out on a summer’s day!
This Pub is very close to the main road, but it’s still pleasant to sit out in their rear pub garden.
Lots of events for young and old and most recently they had a bungee jumping event which brought in a large crowd. July 2009.
