Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Thornton Arms
Situated on a prominent corner in the village of Everton, this is the solitary village pub.
The public bar at the front of the pub is where most of the action takes place. There were two couples, two young girls and a massive dog almost the size of a pony. There is a pool table off to the right-hand side. Apparently, there is further drinking space to the rear, but we didn't go exploring. Landlord is the real ale.
I struggle to get too excited about most pubs in Bedfordshire. Many like this one are just fairly mundane locals. However, if you live in the village, it's probably a valuable asset.
