A very pleasant country pub, inside the room is long and L shaped,there is a a slightly rustic feel to the pub with mixed seating arrangements including some very plush looking red leather sofas ,there is some outside seating at the front of the pub and a very large beer garden to the rear. The downside for me was the ordinary duo of ales in Courage Best and Directors despite being a freehouse. The opening hours are currently restricted to Thursday and Friday evenings and all day on Saturdays and Sundays, it did begin to fill up well with locals from 4.30 0n my Thursday visit. I quite liked the pub but not so keen on the beer selection.

New owners have redecorated and realigned the pub as a welcoming country pub complete with splendid food and B&B accommodation.

Enjoy well kept beers in front of an open fire this winter.
