Plans approved to demolish the Lamb Inn and replace it with five apartments, a maisonette and four semi-detached houses.

A large town pub with a spacious bar, very much a locals' pub although it's convenient for the college. No real ale, loud children, loud staff, loud clientele. There's a cash machine in the bar along with the gaming machines. Decor is scruffy but basic. This could be a really good venue, but for some reason I can't like it, possibly because I've never really felt comfortable here. I would not recommend for inclusion on a crawl at present.
