Now under new owners, re furbed & re opened June 2014. Looks neat & tidy from outside. I have not tried food or beer yet, check their web site, limited opening hours Monday to Wednesday [closed in afternoon]

There was extensive flooding March 2014 and main A272, which is road to the pub, was closed in both directions at Bramdean, thus no passing trade for approx one month. The pub car park was underwater & pub sandbagged.
By April 2014 now closed & up for sale, car park still sandbagged but water has subsided from car park, A272 still partially flooded with traffic light control and pumping near the pub.
