Alan Winfield left this review about The Punch Bowl
The Punch Bowl was a small corner pub on the busy chapel street.
Once inside it was a fairly small pub but it was comfortable enough and i was happy enough having a drink in here.
This pub was a Tetley tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Tetley bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Tetley mild.
It is sad to hear that this is yet another Salford pub to close down.
