The Duchy Inn was a smart looking stand alone pub that looked well looked after when i visited it,the pub was situated opposite one of the grimmest looking flats complexes i have ever seen and i have seen quite a few on my travels.
Once inside the pub had two rooms that i noticed and i had a drink in the bar which was quite a nice room to have a drink in,the pub had Greenalls signs outside but the only beers on the bar were from Burtonwood,i had a drink of Burtonwood bitter which was a very nice drink, this beer was on handpump.
Despite the area this pub was in i still thought it was a decent enough pub to have a drink in.
