A massive, multi roomed, recently refurbished, food led pub. Loads of TV screens around the place. There were hardly any people in on a late Friday afternoon and the whole place felt a bit sterile. 2 handpumps on the bar, but only Moorhouse's White Witch badged. I asked the barmaid for a half, it wasn't on. She asked the landlord who was chatting to his mates why the beer was badged when it wasn't on. He said "It's ready in the cellar, I'll put it on later". So the lazy git couldn't be bothered to do his job even though someone wanted serving with it. The barmaid said" Sorry, we've still got smooth". I told her that the landlord didn't deserve my, or anyone elses's custom with his poor attitude and pointed out that the pub was empty, whilst the nearby Falconers was doing very nicely, I wonder why that is. A neat enough roadside eatery type of place run by a total Barclay's. Would have been a 5 or 6 if it hadn't been for the numpty.
