Now known as the Falcon Steakhouse, this pub has a couple of entrances. The main entrance to the left takes you straight into the restaurant. To the right (mind the step on entry) is a carpeted bar with exposed Cotswold stone walls and wallpaper with pictures of the town on the walls. There is a fireplace on the right-hand wall. Background music was playing. Beyond this is further drinking space to the rear.

There are 4 handpulls on the bar. These were dispensing Hop Union Maiden Voyage, Otter Bitter, Ramsbury RPA and a cider - Lilley's Fire Dancer. Pick of the keg beers was Hop Union Bloody Nora.

Food appears to be a mainstay here, presumably steaks. There was also a separate bar menu. Locals and the bar staff were all quite chatty and were happy to recommend other pubs in the town.
