A Good Beer Guide 2023 Entry.
Impressive looking Cotswold Stone building(s) - with a lovely looking garden that would have been a bonus if it wasnt monsoon season in the UK.
Some accommodation blocks in a separate building.
The main bar is very wooden - from the bare floorboards to the partitioned hard seating.
(Over) polite staff and mainly, this is a dining environment. I can say this, as they charge a tenner for a sausage sandwich, which comes on regular sliced bread.
Beer wise - four real ales on. Otter Bitter in reasonable condition but possibly a touch too cold.
Certainly a better experience than my last visit to Tetbury, where the Greyhound served me a pint of doombar that mostly went into the plant pot.
