Quite a dark bare boarded interior serving various ciders & a keg only beer selection on my visit.

There is nothing that sends my taste buds racing more than to walk past a pub and look through the windows and see a bank of hand pumps, so in I went and having to adjust my eyesight from the bright sunshine out side to the darker pub interior, it was a few seconds before I realised that almost all the hand pumps sold cider ! I have no problem with cider but by then the barman was hovering and waiting for my drink request. Wow mate, thats a good choice I mumbled, I'll try a half of Gert Lush which to be honest was the pump directly in front of me. The barman was very friendly and informed me that they have a choice of 34 ciders [and 2 real ales ]. The pub interior certainly matched the photo above by Mark, "olde worlde" both inside and out, quite spacious and neat + tidy. Well worth a visit.

This place certainly on the up! New owners have been there since just before christmas last year and have really turned this place around. It's very quaint and tends to deal with dufferent nice markets, holding motown nights, rock nights and others. It has a huge beer garden and is down the road from Gloucester Rugby. Polite Staff, clean and cosy.
