The Royal Oak is a small stone built pub to the north of the town centre.
This pub was an Ushers tied house and there was one real ale on the bar which was Ushers bitter this was a decent drink.
I thought this was quite a nice pub to have a drink in.
Pub visited 3 August 2002.
