Proper locals pub that was full on my arrival at 5pm and then on my return after a walk around the town (other pubs) at 10pm.
Good atmosphere, with the darts team in and jukebox playing.
Prescott Hill Climb in great condition.
If you are looking for a proper pub in a tourist town, this would be the one!

Chipping Campden became extraordinarily wealthy on the wool trade centuries ago. Nowadays it makes its money from tourism, as the number of hotels and souvenir shops shows. Most places are geared up to feeding and watering coach parties on day trips from London on the Oxford-Stratford-Warwick circuit but, as Peter says below, this one remains off that radar and all the better for it.
The bar takes up the whole of the front of the building, and is very traditional, stone floors, beams, open fires, smelly dogs, Sky Sport. The back room is an Indian restaurant, there's a garden beyond and a courtyard for the smokers. The Prescott Hill Climb bitter was fair to middling.
Excellent pub for the locals, and people like me who wish to avoid the gastro-pretentions of most of the other pubs in town. Note not open till mid-afternoon during the week.

A nice pub for the locals, as all the other pubs in the area tend to cater for the tourist market and the wealthier locals! Only one real ale on when I was in there (St Austell Tribute) which was in good condition. There is an Indian restaurant to the rear of the pub.
