It's been a long time since I've visited this pub - what a transformation. It is light years away from the "earthy" local boozer that I remember. The interior is now smart and modern- almost like a fashionable bar you would find in your town centre.
The Hewlett is a white washed pub on the outskirts of Cheltenham, tucked away amongst a row of terraced and semi detached properties. They serve real ale - Timothy Taylor's being amongst the choices, a selection of newspapers are provided for the customer to peruse at their leisure. There is a beer garden and car park. The Hewlett is one of Cheltenham's hidden gems
