It has been reported in the local media, that the Kings Head may be given one last chance to be a going concern. In recent years, it has been a restaurant and a nursery. A planning application has been submitted to build holiday homes in the pub garden.The pub is a grade II listed building.

According to the Kings Head facebook page, the pub closed on Christmas Eve 2013. There are To Let and For Sale signs, on the front.
Update - The Kings Head Inn, is currently being converted to an Italian restaurant.
