Following Cliveâ€™s comments from May 12th, the beers were out of condition on my visit. The head did not last after the first sip and despite the fact they tasted OK initially?, by the time I was half way down the glass, they started to take on a stale smell and went totally flatâ€¦lagers only if you eat there.

Sadly the Angel Inn has fallen from grace. Still good beer, food & table staff, but the management is terrible. There were lots of hidden extras, that really added up and ruined a good meal. Beware, you can be charged for 'free' complimentary items. If you do dine here, get the full costs in writing, in advance.
