The Sun is a fairly large pub that is situated just off the town centre,it looks like a 30s built pub.
Once inside there is a large single L shaped room with the bar facing on entry and is up a couple of steps, the floor is part carpeted and bare boarded, there are two pool tables on a lower area to the front right, there are other areas that are on different levels making the room seem pretty strange to me,the seating is limited and is mainly normal tables and chairs.
There are no real ales on the bar,the keg option was the horrible John Smiths Extra Cold Crap which was a really crap drink.
The only plus point for the pub was the background music and that was poor.
Not a pub to go out of your way to do like i did.
