The Prince Albert is a smart looking pub that is on a side street in an area where there low rise flats.
Once inside there is a decent sized single L shaped room with the bar facing on entry, the floor is carpeted and the seating is comfy bench type and chairs, plus a couple of settees to the right, there is a pool table to the front left and darts board to the rear right.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of John Smiths smooth crap which was crap.
The TV was showing BBC news.
The pub was empty on my Thursday dinner visit,i had a good chat with the landlord who was of help in sorting out a route for my next pubs to do.
I found this to be a decent pub that was let down by the lack of one real ale.

I had the misfortune to go to this pub on Saturday night for a friends birthday drink. On opening the door I was almost run down by a small child zooming up and down the pub on a scooter. The decor left a lot to be desired and the seats where stained and filthy. The patrons where a rough and ready lot with the F word in very frequent use.the beer was horrible with only John Smiths smooth on sale. The only saving grace was the bottles of Master Brew and Spitfire on the cold shelf.I WILL NOT be going back.
