This is the pick of the pubs in Linslade. It's a down-to-earth local on a residential street. The interior is carpeted with mainly white painted walls and lilac wainscotting. TVs either side of the bar were off and there was no music, just plenty of conversation between the barmaid and her customers, most of whom were playing darts. The Six Nations rugby was being advertised, through Greene King Scrumdown beer mats. Thankly, there was no sign of any Greene King beers. The pub has B & B accommodation, dogs are welcome, there is a jukebox and bingo is advertised.
Timothy Taylor Landlord is a regular cask ale. 4 guest beers were Adnams Broadside, Vale Wychert & Gravitas & Wantsum Hurricane. Camden Pale was on keg. Ciders were Thatcher's Gold & Strongbow.
A decent community local. My Wychert was in good condition. If walking between Leighton Buzzard town centre and the station, this is a worthy stop.

Rather basic locals type of place, seating is standard and not overly comfortable. Probably not somewhere you'd go out of your way for, but beer choice is not so standard and a lot more interesting and great to see

Traditional town centre pub which is the pick of the bunch in Linslade as Mr Fastard notes below. It's a one room boozer, sparsely furnished but comfortable with a dart board and television showing Sky Sports New on our visit. The place has had a spruce up recently with a fresh coat of paint and general decluttering which has done it good and may suggest a recent change of management.
Five ales are offered: GK IPA, London Pride, Red Squirrel's Conservation Bitter and St. Austell Tribute and Proper Job. The Conservation Bitter and Proper Job were both in good nick and very quaffable. It's a fairly conservative range given that there are 5 handpumps available and a number of decent breweries locally but that's a very minor quibble.
The place to head to for real ale in Linslade.
UPDATE - September 2011
Almost entirely unchanged since my last visit, the White Horse remains a basic but comfortable local boozer. Beers on this time were: Pride, GK IPA, Deuchars IPA and Tribute, which went down well. One fewer than previously and all from national brewers.
With a little TLC and the freedom and ambition to make interesting ale selections this place really could be an absolute gem. In the meantime it's probably still the safest bet for a pint in Linslade.
