I had not visited this pub for about five years, so we tried it as we were in the area. It is a small pub with a saloon bar and restaurant area to the left. There is a small public bar to the right, but I do not think I have ever seen anyone in it. There are some new chairs and the standard fitment large flat screen television. The garden at the rear is well kept with a covered and heated smoking area. Greene King IPA and Adnams Bitter on draught. It is still a reasonable pub, but it does not have enough going for it to make a special journey.
