We normally like McMullens pubs, but not this one. It is well decorated, with a large garden and car park. The down side is it is small, had loud piped music playing, and a barmaid who acknowledged us but without any enthusiasm. It was late afternoon on a Bank Holiday Sunday which may not be the best time to visit a pub, but it seemed to have an unwelcoming feel to it. We may try again when it is not so busy.
