Perfect pub for a village community. Lovely Food and great real ale. I don't care how many 'traditional' pubs there are in essex as long as this one stays!

Lovely pub- owners friendly, and food lovely, but still a regkular country public house like the 564 others within a 100 mile radius!
Reviews like Elisabeth Mcgraw's "thank goodness it will now be a proper village pub" rather than a public house for gay clientele, are really quite laughable. Straigh pub number 354b in Essex? How many straight pubs do you need? Laughable.
