We visited late one afternoon. The barmaid gave us the impression we were disturbing her chat with the locals. Four real ales available. Judging by the toilets, the pub has been refurbished lately, and is clean but seems to have lost character. Some of the food prices seemed a bit high. We would visit again if in the area, but would not make a special journey.
