This place is a small bar with football memorabilia all over the walls and screens for showing Sky Sports in every possible position. There is a standard draught selection and the guy behind the bar was friendly enough to the only customer at 5pm on a recent Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately the Guinness was well below par, but I did amazingly spot a projector screen rolled up on a wall whilst trying to knock the black stuff back – this place should be called Curry’s/comet Bridge House.
There are four picnic tables on the path outside along a busy road which were handy to time my quick dash to the train station over the bridge. To be honest, if I found myself at Goodmayes Road Station again I would make the effort to walk to another drinking establishment.
