The food in this pub is excellent. I would rate the catering as one of the top ten pubs in which I have eaten in the UK. No evidence of Br*kes or 36*3 dinged in a mike.(I have City and Guilds in cookery).
Not really a 'local' as a watering hole, but gastronomically superb and a recommended eaterie for visitors to our lovely town. A warm welcome from the proprietors and staff is assured.
