Our visit started off quite well until we told the barmaid that we were not eating, but just wanted a drink. Her attitude changed, and we were made to feel unwelcome. The pub is split into separate little areas, and appeared to have four real ales available. However, it is unspoilt to the point of being scruffy, and that coupled with the attitude of the barmaid means we will not return.

This delightful country pub is an excellent find. It serves great food and has excellent well kept ales. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have regular events on so there is always something worth going in for, brilliant, we visit regularly!
