Oh dear, we phoned this place up first to check if they were showing the F1 race and they said unless it was on sky they would show the race. I got there and they were showing the race it was even advertised at the bar, about 15 minutes into the race the TV got turned off and they played some music (very annoying) and then the race came back on again for another 20 minutes then the TV got turned over for the football.....

My other half had taken part in the Halstead race, so afterwards she came looking for me and they were more than a little unhelpful to someone who had just ran 26 miles!! There was no signs up saying that they were going to put the football on, I'm not going back.

By far the best pub in a beer desert called Halstead.After all they do say that in every desert.....'.Very comfortable with a fair range of real ale.Worth the walk up the hill.
