This pub has just been refurbed and its fantastic. The food was hot and plentiful. We both had the roast fore rib of beef and it's the first time I have been out for sunday lunch and felt it was like what would have had at home. The menu isnt huge which is a plus as far as I'm concerned. If you have children they are welcome and there is also a fenced in area outside with tables so they can play safetly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone and I know this is going be our local even if it is approx 18 miles from where we live in Maldon
