During a visit to the Little Crown on Thursday 13th February I was informed by the landlord, Jimbo, that the pub was to close that weekend. Apparently, it has become food orientated, which is a million miles from when I visited. Standard keg was available, but the two hand pumps were unused. Some 1970s music was playing from the television and I noted that Karaoke, live music (such as Ska) and a quiz were held here. At the rear of the bar is a pool table and dartboard. I believe that the landlords have moved across town to another larger pub.
