I called in to the Kings Head briefly while staying in Brightlingsea. It is on a junction with the longer side of the building forming the saloon bar and the shorter side the public bar with pool table, darts etc. It is decorated traditionally and there was a good atmosphere. Old Speckled Hen was available on draught, but sadly I could not try it as I was driving. I would like to call back.
