Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The New Town Tavern
Refurbished backstreet pub, with a tidy, opened-out 'L'-shaped interior retaining some wood panelling on the lower walls, although the side part (housing the pool table) is located down a single step. With three of four handpumps in use, I found a couple from Greene King - the seasonal Rock it with Rudolph and Abbot -plus Colchester Brewery's Metropolis (£3.20).
