This is an L shaped pub that is such a nice place to be in. It has the look and feel of a traditional pub, and is clean and in good condition. The staff are friendly and helpful. Greene King IPA on handpump at £2.85, plus two other real ales. We do not normally eat in pubs, but we did here on two evenings. The menu is well thought out, sensibly priced and the food excellent. I do not often rate pubs as 9, and I would be pleased to have this as my local.
