Requested be closed with reason - For sale: Planning application was granted for change of use to a single residential house last October. An Estate Agent called Strutt and Parker is flogging it off.

What a gem of a place. The owner Brian greeted us like friends instead of customers. The food is fresh hot and home cooked no microwave pinging here. How refreshing to have fresh vegetables and not a courgette in sight hurrah. The portions are huge and the whitebait starter came with salad and fresh bread and butter and I could have happily had this as a main meal to be honest. The meat pudding is full of tender chunks of meat with some mushroom in a very tasty gravy. I highly recommend this pub that is like the tardis as from the outside it looks like a small country pub but when inside it goes back and sideways lol The owners Brian and his wife are very proudly of this pub and rightly so.
