Modern large pub,but the bar is only on one side. Lots of windows to let the light in, but when they have the big screen down, the blinds come down and it gets very dark. No real ale that I could see. There are two seating areas outside, both on concrete and close to the road. The locals were very loud when I was there, but it was a Friday afternoon at 4pm, it may be quieter other times, though they do have DJ's, Karaoke and live groups, so it may be just as loud. The pub are the proud sponsors of Winston Old Boys FC, if that means anything to anyone.
