A friendly two bar village local dating at a guess from late Victorian times. The saloon to the left doesn't seem to have changed much in twenty or thirty years, while the public bar to the right looks as if it's been opened out to cater for 'lads from village' more recently. Presentable Harvey's Best and TT Landlord on offer. Very handy if you want to warm up before the races or have an hour to kill before the train comes afterwards, but you probably wouldn't call here otherwise.

Unpretentious village local with 2 bars. Food sounded good value but didn't sample. Worth dropping in if passing.

Located close to plumpton train station & racecourse. Beers included harveys,timothy taylor & stowford cider. The pub has a dartboard,pool table & serves food.
