A basic Shepherd Neame Pub, an L shaped room with wooden flooring and rather dull Blue/Grey painted walls, there was some nice wood partitioned seating areas. The only cask beer on was Whitstable Pale which was nothing special, neither was the pub.

Basic locals' pub with a room either side of the island bar. Sadly even the Master Brew was off, so didn't bother staying.

The Fountain is a Shepherd Neame pub with a public bar that houses a pool table, dartboard and jukebox. The saloon bar has a piano and a TV that was off during my late visit on Friday night last week. There are only two hand pumps and one of these was unused leaving Master Brew as the only ale option. I plumped for the Guinness that was well served by the friendly woman working behind the bar. An older crowd was present and John Lee Hooker was playing on the jukebox.
I may have caught this pub at a bad time, but I wasn’t very impressed and will give it a miss when next in the area.
