The Dripping Well is next door to the Tub Man and looking at the brick work behind the bar on the left hand side I have my suspicions that these two establishments were in fact one at some point. In amongst the standard draught selection there are four hand pumps, but two of these were off leaving Franklins Tea and Wadworth Henry’s IPA. I had a half of Guinness from the polite woman working the bar, but it wasn’t very good quality and tasted like it had been sitting in the pipes for a while. I was the only customer in this small pub on Monday night last week, but that is still no excuse. The bar area has a plasma screen (no Sky Sports advertised), a jukebox and a dartboard that is situated on the back wall. The right hand side of the pub is made up of seating and there are a couple of steps up to gain access.

I’m not sure that I’d bother returning here.
