Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Inn on the Park
Curious place this, the pub for a 'retirement village' of mobile homes right out in the countryside but open to all. Large bar and dining room with a slightly raised lounge area near the entrance, all with semi-modern furniture and Christmas decorations up when I called in (but probably quite plainly decorated otherwise). Long Man Best Bitter (£4.00) being served from of a pair of handpumps, and a reversed Betty Stogs clip on the other.

Strongers . left this review about Inn on the Park
The Inn on the Park is part of the Deanland Retirement Village which is aimed at active pensioners which explains why I got a funny look as I walked to the bar. I think that the barmaid thought I was a delivery driver, but once she realised that I had turned up for some refreshment she was friendly and polite. This bar and restaurant is open to the public but I’m not so sure about the bowling green and snooker club that flank it.
The interior of the bar/restaurant is large with lots of seating for breakfast, lunch and dinner service. There is a raised area at the front of the building that houses some comfortable arm chairs and there is also a pool table. Some background music was playing and I didn’t note the presence of any televisions. There is a stage against the right hand wall and live entertainment is advertised.
The bar is stocked with standard draught and one of the two hand pumps was unused leaving Harvey’s Best as the sole ale option.
This place feels like a pub/restaurant in a holiday complex, which it kind of is. Great for the residents to walk to, but there are far better proper pubs in this area so I’ll not be returning.
