Requested be closed with reason - Other: Was closed yesterday late afternoon (Wed) and the side door has a metal security cover. Hopefully this is just a temporary measure.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Wheel Inn
Fine-looking Wealden pub in a separate settlement on the main road west of Burwash village. The interior has been thoroughly refurbished, but retains a semi-traditional traditional style in the large bar area and separate dining room off to the right. However, the rear games room is a much plainer affair. For the better weather, there is a reasonable beer garden at the back plus a few tables on the narrow, south-facing, patio terrace. Surprisingly limited selection of draught beers offered, but (inevitably) Harvey's was available from one of the three handpumps.

Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Wheel Inn
The Wheel is the solitary pub in the village of Burwash Weald. It didn't look open when we initially approached, but all service is currently in the spacious rear garden of the pub.
There is a covered area directly behind the pub, where people were having late lunches. This may have been heated. Beyond that at a slightly higher level is an open garden, with some children's play equipment at the back.
Service is currently from a horse box adjacent to the garden. So, the drinks range is limited. Whilst there was no horse, it did contain a cask of Harvey's Sussex Best Bitter.
Parking is at the front and right-hand side of the pub.
