Community Greene King pub that features in the 2023 Good Beer Guide. Greene King IPA is a regular beer, alongside Timothy Taylor Landlord. On our visit, the guest beer was Purity Mad Goose.
There are two distinct rooms with a central bar. TVs in both rooms were showing live sport. The bar area was showing a Premier League football match, whilst the more comfortable lounge area had a quieter and older crowd with horse racing showing. The landlord and landlady were both friendly and happy to exchange pleasantries.
