This is a locals local and it was a little intimidating in here early last Sunday evening. The barman/governor didn't really want to serve me, but did so without a smile or word uttered. The misses struggled to tell me over the barking dog that the ladies loos were in a terrible state. Our table was leaning into the wall, so the building is either suffering from subsidence or some dodgy building work has taken place.
Like many pubs in the area there is a pool table and a dartboard. There are also two benches at the front of the pub, although one had been stolen according to the polite message in the window directed at the thieves.
I don't think that I'll ever bother going in again.
