Corner pub serving Sharps Atlantic and Doom Bar. We went for the Atlantic which was fine. There is also a row of "crafty" beers from the likes of Tiny Rebel and Beavertown if that's your thing! All in all a decent pub.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about William the Fourth
Brewer's Tudor building, partly opened out to leave a number of seating / dining areas around a central bar. Despite the black-and-white upper storey, it is still quite plain externally but the interior has been refurbished throughout. Proper Job, Arundel Sussex Gold (£4.10) and Rosie's Pig cider from three of five handpumps.

The William the Forth was very subdued on Saturday evening when most of the other pubs in the area were buzzing, but I was grateful for a place to wind down a little as my visit to this pub was at the end of an all day session in Brighton. The central bar is surrounded with different seating areas and the pub has a traditional feel unlike some of the plastic bars in the area. The bar supports at least five hand pumps and two of these were unused, but Pride, Spitfire and Hepworth’s Classic Old Ale were available from the other three. There is also a standard draught selection alongside Amstel and the Guinness was on good form. Hot drinks are also available and the food seemed to be basic pub grub at very reasonable prices. There is a plasma screen that was off and the background music was very low. Outside the front of the pub there are a couple of picnic tables under an awning.
I though that the service could have been a little politer, but this wouldn’t put me off a return visit.
