Next up the Camelford Arms on Camelford St, a side street off St James’s St. Traditional pub, rectangle with the short walk from the door to the long bar along the back wall, with stools along the length of the bar. Seating via tables and chairs dotted around the perimeter. Food was popular here and a big weekly quiz night on Thursdays widely advertised. Some grand chandeliers and large wall mirrors added to the glitz of a place generally lacking glitz!

Cask was a single pump offering Harvey’s Sussex Best. Keg offering Peroni, Inch’s cider, Cruz, Amstel, Guinness, Heineken, Brixton American Pale Ale & Neck Oil.

But disappointed thought this was going to be a pub with a decent cask offering but I guess community here prefers lagers and pub grub.

This pub didn't live up to its external promise,a solid looking boozer proclaiming its Free House status, once inside it is quite food driven and smart affair, beer wise the four handpumps offered only Harveys Sussex Best On two plus a Seacider Rhubarb on the third leaving the last one bare.I did have the slight bonus of finding Chouffe Session on a keg tap, that aside I'm unlikely to return.
