Now called the kings. A small ground floor bar with an upstairs area I didn't visit. Standard draught and food served.

As the Kings Arms this place used to be a normal pub that would attract people from all walks of life. These days have passed since the name change to Project 56 and the installation of a plastic LED lit bar top that accompanies various flashing lights. The furniture is contemporary and the plasma screen was showing muted Benidorm whilst some Europop was being blasted out for the enjoyment of the handful of men that were standing at the bar. The pool table has gone, but some potted plants have been dotted about the place. There are some stairs that lead up, but I didn’t investigate. I didn’t see any food advertised and the bar is lined with standard draught products.

The governor was very friendly, but this isn’t my scene so I’ll not be returning.
