A peculiar pub just behind the Dome. One narrow room, opening out a little at either end, with a small dining area at the back. The low ceiling gives a rather dark feel, with a shortage of the usual brass and glass work that might have brightened it. Once acclimatised to the gloom, it is a reasonably comfortable traditional bar. There are a few tables out front and also a patio garden at the rear. Draught ales at time of visit were Harvey's Best, Tribute and Gun Brewery Extra Pale.

A long, narrow and surprisingly unpublike place - more like a bar to look at and lacking in atmosphere when I was here. Which to be fair was at the fag end of a long new year weekend. Beers available at the time of my visit were St Austell Tribute, Sharps Doom Bar, Harveys Sussex Bitter and Long Man Blonde. With nothing on the beer front that would be likely to scare the horses, I drank up quickly and left for more promising venues.
