Not just a pub, but a renowned music venue, with a room upstairs hosting live bands most nights of the week. As for the pub, half a dozen ales with Burning Sky always featuring and on my recent visit the Spring collaboration between Beak & Harvey's. The keg taps also offer a few local craft options from the likes of Abyss, Burning Sky & Gun.
There's a multitude of rooms and usually a spare table or two somewhere, or you can opt for one of the benches outside on Trafalgar Street. The station's just a few minutes away, though be prepared for the steep hike.
The Prince Albert is a regular stop when in Brighton with plenty more options easily reached nearby.

Interesting and most handsome pub found in Brighton. A stones throw from the station. If I was a regular in Brighton, I would be a regular here.
Multiple rooms - including one with a lovely fire. Pop art memorabilia all over the walls. Good choice of well kept beers. Long Man Brewery Best Bitter in fine condition.
Incredibly quiet on a Sunday lunch - but to be fair, first of Sunday of the new year.

Seems a nice vibrant pub, including the bright outside that is currently covered in scaffolding. Some tables on the pavement. near station but below
