Interesting and most handsome pub found in Brighton. A stones throw from the station. If I was a regular in Brighton, I would be a regular here.
Multiple rooms - including one with a lovely fire. Pop art memorabilia all over the walls. Good choice of well kept beers. Long Man Brewery Best Bitter in fine condition.
Incredibly quiet on a Sunday lunch - but to be fair, first of Sunday of the new year.

Seems a nice vibrant pub, including the bright outside that is currently covered in scaffolding. Some tables on the pavement. near station but below

Situated on the hill from the railway station down to the Lanes, this is certainly one of the better pubs in this area. A couple of bouncers were on the door and it was quite busy inside, with some people spilling out onto the tables on the pavement to the front of the pub.
Inside, there are multiple rooms with the bar just in front of you as you enter. There were 5 real ales on handpull, along with a cider. Ales were Burning Sky Plateau, Aurora & Porter, Cloak & Dagger We All Float & Long Man Best Bitter. The cider was Ascension Mothership. Craft beers were Burning Sky Arise, Abyss Super Pale, Long Man Pale Ale & Siren Broken Dreams. I also noticed and ordered a draft cider from the Gun Brewery called Limbertwig.
This was another loud and boisterous place. But we again managed to find a table, with the pub still managing to turn customers over quite quickly. My first visit here for just over 5 years. But I'm sure I'll be back.
