Bit of a rough 'ol pub in the spit and sawdust tradition which is not an issue if you know what to expect.....good sports Sky coverage if thats your thing.....otherwise, avoid!

The Royal Sovereign is located opposite Bexhill Railway Station and is a handy location for a quick pint whilst waiting for a train. The bar is located at the front where there are a couple of plasma screens for watching Sky Sports. Both sides of the entrance are bay windows and one of them has a couple of sofas in it. The bar is stocked with the usual Shepherd Neame draught products and only one out of the three hand pumps was operational and it was drawing Spitfire. At the rear of the pub there is table football, a pool table, a dartboard and a projector screen. The toilets are located downstairs.
The service was friendly and the Guinness was on good form. Due to the location I’ll probably pop back in here when next in Bexhill.
