A backstreet boozer as mentioned below with an L-shaped interior. High-levelled bar area above street level with sunken games area to right including dartboard, pool table and Northants table skittles. Bare boards throughout and no real ale despite two pumps.

The Smiths Arms is a small back street pub.
Once inside this pub was very basic and it was like going back in time,i had a drink in the bar which was smallish and if a remember righ it had a tall bar,this room was very basic.
This pub is a Charles Wells tied house and there was only one real ale on the bar this was Wells Eagle bitter and this was quite a nice drink.
This is a locals pub but i was happy enough having a drink in here.
